Literary Prize

The Literary Prize of the Bordeaux Wine Academy, founded in 1983, is awarded for a work which contributes to a better knowledge of Bordeaux wines.
The winner is given ten cases of twelve bottles of the finest wines of the Academy which go to make up the award.

In 2003, the Bordeaux Wine academy and the City of Bordeaux created the « Prix Montaigne » designed as an award for a work representing the values of humanism, tolerance and freedom cherished by the famous Bordeaux writer and Mayor of Bordeaux from 1581 to 1585.  Literary Prize
